I've watched you since the days of 搞笑行动 – I was only in primary school then. 20 years later, I still think that you're funny and the movies that you have directed and produced touched many of our hearts – whether Singaporean or Malaysian. I believe the public should not judge you just because you have slept with someone half your age. There are things we do in life desire to be forgiven and there are things in life that you can't be forgiven.
We dun know what is really happen behind but if as long as you are taking advantage of these girls by threatening their progress in their Career then you DO NOT DESIRE to be forgiven and actually you are worst then those who pay for Sex as you are threatening them to get Sex. March 12th, 2010 at 4:38 pmI never thought your movies were that fantastic anyway. I enjoyed Money No Enough where you were the spokes person for heartlanders, unheard voices to the government… but now, your movies are filled with product endorsements, cheap jokes and pro government policies.
I did enjoy the little skit of the press conference though. Especially Ah Nan yelping at the top of his voice. Just hide behind a skirt and a loud voice. The media has earned you millions and is expected payback because of what you did.

How did you get the courage to direct a movie that speaks so much about yourself? We can choose to forget and forgive. However, can you ever forgive your sinned self? If you know about the consequences, why did you still went ahead with your crime? You have a daughter whose age is around that of your mistress. You chose not to admit to other mistakes. How many girls were targeted..we do not know. You know it yourself. Ultimately, it is yourself you are accountable to. Can you continue to live with your lies? Do you want to wait for another public outcry then you can step out and apologise to the girls whom you harrassed in the past? If you want to turn over a new leaf, you got to do these necessary steps before you can move on. You wouldnt want to live with regrets, do you? I hope that you have learnt your mistakes. What the fuck. You are not supposed to like it if you had an affair and everyone commented and despised you. In fact, lets rewind that a bit – you're not supposed to have an affair AT ALL when you are married.
It's sentiments like that quoted above that breaks down the values of this society; values that are, ironically, so well explored, exploited and portrayed in Jack Neo's films.Artistic pressure or any other kind is never an excuse to hurt people emotionally and ruin other people's lives. In fact, nothing ever is.
Jack Neo is a great filmmaker and artist. At least his old movies like Home Run and I Not Stupid are arguably critically good. However, as a husband and social role model, I think he's really lousy.
